A Day to Remember

Hello everyone, today I have to talk about a day that I remember especially, well it's something complicated since I have many days like this, but there is always one that comes directly to my mind and that's when I went to watch the Chile vs Spain in the World Cup in Brazil 2014. That day Chile won 2-0 and qualified to the last 16 of the World Cup. But the day was very long. Everything started in the city of Buzios, where we were staying my dad and I, plus other Chileans who had bought a tourist package, which guaranteed logistics and tickets. Unfortunately in the last one it failed. They did not have the tickets and saw with anger and grief as my dream was destroyed. My childhood friend who was also with me in buzios with his father and younger brother, had managed to have the ticket since they fought with the owner of the travel agency and this gave them the tickets that had. I was on the verge of collapse, the truth we began to mourn with my father, of pure impotence to have been deceived.
At that moment it occurred to my dad to go to the maracana stadium to see if we could resale, we went there and found tickets but these were handicapped and at a high price. But the dream was worth all the money we had, even loaned us.
But we were afraid that they would let us out for the tickets, that's why we scared the people of the World Cup where the famous B door was, I still remember.
We arrived at door B we entered the entrance to get into the tourniquet and everything worked. When we entered, we burst into tears and climbed one of the temples of world football.
The rest is history.

An Expert on your Field

Hello everyone, today I have to tell you about a person I admire or who I find to be an expert on their subject. The truth is that I do not admire anyone skilled in any subject, but I do have a memory of a pre-university teacher. I do not remember his name, I just remember that he made history, but he was a spectacular person. He was bald, with a stooped and fanatic stance of coke. His voice was very characteristic and studied pedagogy in history at the University of Chile and at the University of Concepcion. Single, and with a lot of books, that's his biography.
I liked his way of teaching, you could tell he loved the story and every episode was a romance for him. It made you vibrate through the story.
His work was great, I think he made many look at it as a semi god and thank him, because thanks to him I did well in the history psu.
I do not have any photos, but I will publish one of May of the 68, a time that he loved.

A Band / Singer I like

Hello everyone, today I have to talk a band I like. Since I was little I never had a band that I liked, in fact I did not like the music. But on summer vacation I met the band that I would like forever. They are "Los Fabulosos Cadillacs", they are argentinian, from Buenos Aires, they were founded in 1985. At first they were not known, in fact their first album was frowned upon by critucs, but it is gold for fans. From the second album onwards, fame began, they became known throughout Argentina. Although it´s international fame began in the year 1993 with the disc "El León".
In the dics "Vasos Vacíos" came out the song more popular of the band, "Matador". This song made them famous in the world and thus became a recognized band.
Have won many awards and filled thousands of stadiums at their concerts. Chile is one of your favorite destinations.
It´s members are: Gabriel Fernandez, Vicentico, is the vocalist; Flavio Cianciarulo, Sr. Flavio, is the bass player; Sergio Rotman, is the saxophonist; Daniel Lozano, is the trumpeter; Fernando Ricciardi, is the drummer and Mario Siperman is the keyboard player.
The type of music they play is ska, although there is also rock, reggae and salsa.
I like this band because they have good songs, for all kinds of spirits and are differnt, being many musicians.
My favorite song is "Carnaval toda la Vida", because it is sweet and relaxing, in turn it is motivating.

My Favorite Photograph

Hello everyone, today I have to talk about photography that I like the most and there is no doubt that this is it.
This photograph was taken by Neil Leifer, photographer of Sports Illustrated magazine in 1965, at the height of the best boxer of all time Muhammad Ali.
I really like this photo because it shows what Ali, an exceptional boxer, a genius. He lived every fight as the last, that makes him more memorable. His rage at shouting boxer Sonny Liston for less than two minutes is beautiful to me. It should be noted that Ali was only 23 years old and his opponent was already at 34. That is why rage, since he could not with a boy who just started on the tracks.
Boxing is one of the most important sports in the world, which generates a fight of monsters of this sports, is something surprising, since lately it has gone down, since it has not been a great exponent, although it is also due to that In Chile there is no great boxer either. One of the most remembered is Martin Vargas, who thrilled an entire country in every fight.
That's all friends, thanks for reading.

My Favorite Festivity

Hi, today I will talk about my favorite festivity, and It is the National Holidays. Chile celebrates the National Holidays in September, during two days, the September 18th and September 19th, but may be four days, depending if it is before or after a weekend.
In this festivity we celebrate the first assembly of government, this event  started the independence of Chile from Spain. This happened in 1810, in Santiago, the capital of the country.
Spain was invaded by Napoleon, then the Spanish cities did not recognise the brother of Napoleon as governor of the country. Then they started to organise different assemblies for the country. Then  Latin America copied the  Spanish system, but they were not for independence but to support the king in his prison. Later began the independence process.
The celebration is very cool, because in the different parks of the country, people make a lot of shelter, remembering  the dive, place where celebrating in the period of the Spanish colony. The people are going to drink every night, to eat a lot and dance.
I like this festivity, because it is very happy, the people are happy on this date, dancing a lot and drinking. I like the drink of this date, for example the earthquake and the maize liquor.
This date is the best, I like it very much.

My Favorite Piece of Technology

Well, today I´m talking about my favorite piece of technology. This is very easy for me, because I grew up with this object. It is the television. Since I was a child I always  have one TV, either in my bedroom or in my parents'. When I visited  my grandparents I always watched TV all day. Today I watch TV in great part of the day. Generally they are cartoons and sports program, sometimes I watch a movie channel.
Generally, I arrive to my house and take the remote control and turn on the TV, to turn it off it is basically the same.
I like TV very much, because I always watch it and evereything it gives. For example the cartoons, I like them because they are funny.
Without TV in my life, it would be very boring and sad. I love the Tv.

Why did you choose your career / study journalism?

When I was a child I always wanted to be a marine, because I was born in a port city called Antofagasta, then every day many ships arrived  in the city. I loved the ships, my dream was navigate all the ships and also I liked the war very much,  I don´t know why, in fact I still  like it. Every day I saw documentary about the pacific war. That happened because I once went to small rounded hill of Arica.

In my adolescence, I want to be a lawyer, but in the secundary I had a teacher of philosophy that told me to be happy and I decided for the journalism, because that makes me happy, beacuse I love football so I hope to talk about that every day.

My experience at the university has been gratifying, because I´ve met a lot the good persons and I´ve learned a lot the interesting things , in fact now also  I wish to be a war reporter o international journalist, because I wish to travel for the world.

Today, I don´t know in what work, I know that I want to be happy with my work.
